Located near Dolores Colorado, we assist clients in rural America
and other countries achieve the success they desire by providing
state of the art training, facilitation, consulting, technical
services aimed at improving manageability and building long term
sustainability. Our focus is on developing excellent decision
making, leadership and management skills in our clients.
Our clients include family farms and
ranches, new and small land owners, natural resource managers,
community groups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses. We also
work with Conservation Districts, Government agencies, Native
American Indian Nations, and non-profit organizations. Your
needs drive the content of our programs and your success is our
bottom line.

Cindy Dvergsten
is
committed to helping people make a difference by putting 30 years of
experience in natural resource management, business and agriculture to
work for her clients. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in
Natural Resource Management and Soil Science from
the College of Natural Resources University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Cindy has over 14 years experience in the Federal government including
service in the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and the USDI
Bureau of Reclamation. |
Since 1996 she has work to developed her natural
talents as a trainer, mentor, facilitator and entrepreneur. She has
completed formal training and study in sustainable agriculture, business
coaching, facilitation, conflict resolution, strategic planning, and small
business management. She is knowledgeable about the issues and concerns of
family farms and ranches, rural communities, and small businesses.

Cindy is a Holistic Management ®
Certified Educator with 12 years of experience teaching and mentoring
holistic managers. She has used holistic decision making to improve her
quality of life, manage her farm and her business enterprises since
1993. |

She brings a lifetime of farming experience to her
work. Cindy and her husband Mike operate Arriola Sunshine Farm
near Cortez Colorado. They raise grass fed beef, heritage
turkey, hay, free-range chicken eggs, ducks, Navajo Churro Sheep and
organically grown vegetables for the Cortez Farmers Market, local
restruants and groceries. They believe that managing for a triple
bottom line is essential to the success in today's changing world.
When not on the farm, Mike serves as District Conservationist for
the NRCS.
Cindy is
active in her community. She has served several terms as an
appointed official on the Montezuma County Planning Commission,
serves on the Economic Development Steering Committee, is president
of Colorado Holistic Management, a former member of the Board
of Directors of the Pinion Project and is a graduate of Leadership
Montezuma.
